We Believe

  1. ...That all Scripture, both the Old and New Testament as fully inspired and breathed by God, and we accept His written Word as the full and final authority for faith and life that we as His sons and daughters may be equipped. (2 Timothy 3:16-17)
  2. ...In the one true God, eternally existing, in three equally divine Persons – Father, Son and Holy Spirit who know, love, and glorify one another. He is living and active, the creator of all things, visible and invisible, who sustains and sovereignly rules over all things. (Matthew 28:19, 2 Corinthians 13:14, Hebrews 4:12, John 1:3, Colossians 1:16-17)

  3. ...That Jesus Christ is fully man and fully God, born of the Virgin Mary and the only way for humanity to restore right relationship with Father. (Galatians 4:4, John 1:14,) Mankind was created in the image of God, sinned, and thereby is suffering the penalty of death both physical and spiritual having been separated from God. We each have now inherited a sinful nature which issues in actual transgression and guilt. (Genesis 1:27, Romans 3:12) Jesus Christ, having lived a sinless life paid for the sins of man as a substitutionary sacrifice according to Scripture for all who would put their faith in, believe and receive Him as Lord and Savior. (Hebrews 4:15, Romans 6:23, Ephesians 2:13, 1 Peter 3:18, 1 John 1:9) That Jesus Christ is resurrected from the grave, ascended into Heaven, and is living and active as our High Priest and Advocate. (John 11:25-26, Matthew 28:6, Hebrews 10:10-14, 1 John 2:1-2, John 14:1-3) and that Jesus will return, and every knee will bow, and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. (Hebrews 9:28, Titus 2:13, Matthew 24:30, Philippians 2:10-11)
  1. ...In Holy Spirit, His restorative work, and abiding presence in each believer. That Holy Spirit takes up residence in those who confess Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior and that He has been sent as a Helper, Comforter, and the Power of Jesus Bride, His Church, in order that each believer may produce the fruit of Holy Spirit and walk in the gifts given according to Scripture and that those gifts still operate today. (1 John 4:15, 1 Corinthians 12:11-13, Galatians 5:22-23, John 14:26, 1 Corinthians 12:7-11)
  1. ...In water baptism by immersion as a statement of confession by the believer, thus participating in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ and as an expression of faith in obedience to His command (Matthew 28:19, Acts 2:37-41) In the breaking of bread, where the bread and cup are symbols of celebration and remembrance of Jesus’ sacrifice (1 Corinthians 11:28-32)
  1. ...All who repent of their sin, confess, and receive Jesus Christ by faith are born again of Holy Spirit and adopted as son’s and daughters as children of God. (John 3:3, 2 Corinthians 5:17, Titus 3:5, 1 John 5:1-4) As His adopted children, we are called into a life of holiness, devotion, and service to Jesus Christ and that each one is called to fulfill the Great Commission and Great Commandment as laid forth in Scripture. (1 Peter 1:13-25, Matthew 6:24, Romans 12:2, Matthew 28:16-20, Matthew 22:36-40)
  1. ...That we are living stones in His holy temple, we are the Priesthood of all believers in Jesus Christ, and we each, as His children belong to His body and function as one with many members. Each piece uniquely called and chosen by God. (1 Peter 2:5, 1 Corinthians 12:12-27, Romans 12:4-8, 1 Peter 2:9)

That the body has been given various ministries or ministers in order to bring maturity, understanding of truth and the equipping of His saints (Ephesians 4:11-16) That Christ is the Head of His body, the Church, and that in Him and through Him, He has pre-eminence. (Ephesians 1:22, Colossians 1:15-19)
